PRA was founded in the year of 2020. We are a registered state level sports organization with registration number of N-PNG-09879 with Sports Commissioner of Malaysia or Pesuruhjaya Sukan Malaysia under the Ministry of Youth and Sports or Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS). We are affiliated with Malaysia Rowing Association (PERDAMA) and also as an affiliated member in the Penang State Sports Council or Majlis Sukan Negeri Pulau Pinang (MSNPP). As the governing body for Rowing sport in the state of Penang, PRA strive to promote the sport and develop athletes, officials, coaches and new talent to represent Penang in national and international championships.
